First David himself sends in this:
This vid below is from 2013 but I always say a thing of beauty is a joy forever. The music is beautiful .. love Amazing Grace .. so are the performances conducted by Andre Rieu in Berlin .. and I adore bagpipes! I want to see more vids of people coming together to sing en bloc and share heart-to-heart New Year emotions and shedding poignant tears.
The only thing missing in the vid is David Archuleta!! 😛 He is very good in drawing poignant tears from us, no?! 😉 My secret wish all these years is to hear David sing Auld Lang Syne. Hopefully he will one day be invited to sing it in a big orchestra – as in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Hey, it’s high time they invite him again, no?? 😯
I think 2018 will again come with Great Music from David. Because he has at last found himself. Truly and deeply found himself. In exactly the way he wants for himself. He won’t just stop now. He can’t stop. His D&A won’t let him.
Think it’s a package called DAVID ARCHULETA !!! 😀
cr: pocoelsy thank you!
cr:ViralDrafts thank you!
I’ve been naive. I hardly posted pics or stories about David in relation to his family. Ï always said to myself: “What has his siblings and cousins etc etc have to do with my following David Archuleta? It’s his music and his comings and goings as a singer/composer I’m interested in. . . . ”
Well, these thoughts may have to take a different direction today. I’m posting a HUGE pic below of David’s clan.
Why?! Slow and thick as I might be, I’m beginning to realise that, other than the importance of Music and Writing and the Archies in his heart, David actually has (and treasures) a most dominant force behind him, presiding his vitality and energy and giving him the solidness and vigour which he needs to inspire him to give us the music we have been hankering after.

Another amazing birthday pic of David! Love it!!
Did David draw this pic below?
Well, maybe a very young family member did.
Or maybe David did!! 😛 😀

TRENDING PARTY FOR DAVID’S BIRTHDAY !!
David’s birthday and Christmas are so close to each other that I sometimes unintentionally overlap one with the other. Christmas is over but the spirit should never leave us. Just like the David-spirit never seems to leave us. The vid below is his favourite Christmas song to sing even though it was sung when he was a child.
He has sung this song at Christmas through the years, each time delving deeper.. more ardently. Can I say he is getting “more and more perfect” at it? 😀 And we getting more and more absorbed into it and falling more and more impassionedly in love with him! 😀
However, let’s not forget this “child” version because it explains alot about why David sings the way he does, especially Christmas songs. How, even as a child, he approaches the music in his heart, in his head. Simply Pure. Refine. Unpolluted. It is Classical. It is what divine music – beautiful music – is about. It is why one never tires of listening to him. It is why I believe his music will stand the passage of time.

Christmas is hee-rre!! It’s Christmas Eve on this side of the globe! 😀
Why is it everyone .. and I mean.. EVERYONE in the world of all denominations of faiths .. is excited about Christmas? Is it the beauty of the lit-up tree? The scrumptious turkey? (I heard that during the olden days, it was the Carp?) Door-to-door carolling? Midnight masses? Santa Claus? Rudolph? Opening presents? or giving the heartfelt Goodwill? Here, in my house, it is the ongoing, continuous blasting of David’s voice singing Christmas songs!! 😀
Excited Santa couldn’t wait for Christmas!

I can’t believe Christmas is almost here! Get into the holiday spirit and relive my performance of “Angels from the Realms of Glory” with @PeterHollens from the #LightTheWorld concert earlier this month. #tbt @ThePianoGuys
The Piano Guys are one of my very favourite music makers. This recent worldwide Youtube event to share the Light of serving, lifting and helping others was live-streamed with David Archuleta and Peter Hollens singing Angels From the Realms of Glory at the beginning of the video And David again singing with Nathan Pacheco at the end of the show at about Mark 1.15.44 Happy Holiday watching!
