Exactlyweek ago I released the music video for my newest single on @YouTube! I can’t thank y’all enough for all the kind words you’ve been sharing with me about it! Happy you’re enjoying #Paralyzed 🙂
I’m sure the great comments were not said out of kindness, David. Paralyzed was beautifully written, beautifully sung and beautifully performed. You deserve every bit of praise and accolade!!
This past week, I had been quessing the lyrics. Guessing no more. After watching the vid below, I have a better understanding of the song’s depths.
The music , the singing and the production of Paralyzed were great. Wow .. the lyrics were more than great. This must be the darkest song David has written/sung/performed. This is the kind of song that can GRAB YOU and CAUSE YOU PAIN. You might even cry. When it ends, you feel a sense of release and freedom.
I’m glad David is entering into another genre of musical expression which I sincerely hope will continue to flourish and proliferate.
At this point for David, perhaps it is a kind of “growing up”. Perhaps it is a natural gravitation towards “deeper musical discovery”. Most likely, perhaps he has now conquered the fear of “revealing his true self”.
Whatever it is, it is I who truly want to THANK DAVID. He has struggled but he has persevered and plodded on. I used to bow to his talent. Now I also bow to his tenacity and fearlessness.
It is US who can’t THANK HIM ENOUGH, right?
It was great working with @brianpetch, who directed #Paralyzed, and the incredible dancers for helping make the music video come to life! http://youtu.be/XbrSTF3gGAk #FBF
