It is truly exciting that David has been sending almost daily tweets. Combined with the tweets sent by people who have met/bumped into him, we are getting alot of news about what he has been doing since he returned.
Besides connecting with Papi (nice family-man David!) … and jamming (can he help it, the music-man that he is!) and meeting loads of girls (did we not say he has grown up? Passionate love songs soon, David? 😉 ) he has of course been Eating and marvelling at some unusual dishes again!
And meeting more girls!
These tweets are all well and good. It’s great to know that David is back to doing what he liked doing before the Mission … eating tasty unusual food .. connecting with family … and having grown up and enjoying the company of girls and the girls as usual, loving being in his presence …
BUT THIS IS THE BEST NEWS OF ALL!!!
David Archuleta @ DavidArchie
It’s been a nice week. A highlight: we got a Spanish song (the first one) written
Never thought I could’ve done that before 🙂
Is this the “unfinished song” he tweeted about earlier?
Much as I’m elated with the news that there is some indication of music at last and that he tweeted about it, there are a couple of questions from this tweet which have mystified me:
“the first one” .. does it mean there will be more? A whole album of Spanish songs? It does make a certain amount of sense since David’s mind must be steeped in everything Spanish for the moment after having spent 2 years in Chile. However, most of us don’t understand Spanish. Does it mean we have to attend Spanish classes soon? 😉
Who is the “WE”? As our dear AAM’er Shirley hinted: Could it be Papi? whom he went to visit and spent some time with? I was amused with that suggestion but of course, with David, anything is possible. Maybe it is Lupe? .. or Abuelita? .. or even pre-Mission David Archuleta vs post -Mission David Archuleta?? 😛
Or, as some have suggested, the other half of the “WE” could be a Spanish songwriter/ex-mormon missionary named Escobar, residing in Utah?
I am not much bothered as to who he works with in writing his music, but please do hurry and sing something soon, David!!! 🙂
