Happy Valentine’s Day everybody! There’s something ‘bout love that breaks your heart, whoa oh oh oh, but don’t give up! There’s something ‘bout love!
I cant believe David sent the tweets below with all those Valentine love messages!
Throwback to 2011 when I first released this song . It was the first song I ever wrote in Nashville 2 years before in 2009. Forever changed my life being introduced to the amazing writers and their writing style that day!
Acoustic Version of this lovable song with its beautiful melody!
Ironic! David Archuleta asking to be NOTICED??!!
The original version with lyrics:
Really! Seriously! David NEEDS to make a concerted effort to sing more LOVE SONGS I listen to that voice in that song (both the latest acoustic version and the original), I hear the lamented pining of one hopelessly in love. How many singers can sing so emotively like that? Conveying so convincingly the message of unrequited love? Yes I’m tearing up. Darn.
(And Loving this pic of David!!)
CHINESE NEW YEAR is here again!
Bring out all the scrumptious food! the bulging red packets! Raise the noise level! Jingle at the good-luck betting tables! Fire the crackling crackers! Light the red lanterns! Drink the good omen long life tea! Burn the auspicious jossticks and make many wishes! For moi, I’m turning up the volume of my DAVID ARCHULETA songs !!!!!!!!!!!! 😀
Promising predictions for the year:
During the Year of the Boar/Pig 2019, Horses are finally enjoying more stability and construction, after years when everything seemed unstable, temporary, and vulnerable to shocks. https://www.thechinesezodiac.org/horse-2019-horoscope/
Sounds auspicious for David!
The only musical link I know about between Chinese New Year and our Archie is the song below. Till this day, I’m still touched and impressed by the way he had sung this song. Chinese is a very difficult language to enunciate. And here is this young man verbalising Mandarin lyrics as if he had sung in this language all his life.
(The only regret about this vid is – his singing is cut off halfway through. Ohhh .. Kari! But still, the close-up of his face is worth watching – you could see the emotive raising of his eyebrows, the stirring movement of his lips – he is a soul of such melting sensitivities – makes you want to cry. Yes, even though while you’re celebratring a very auspicious New Year and winning at the betting tables! Happy heart-warming crying 😥 😀
