The erhu (Chinese: 二胡; pinyin: èrhú), also called nanhu (南胡, “southern fiddle”), and sometimes known in the West as the “Chinese violin” or “Chinese two-string fiddle,” is a two-stringed bowedmusical instrument, used as a solo instrument as well as in small ensembles and large orchestras. It is the most popular instrument in the huqin family of Chinese bowed string instruments, together with the zhonghu, gaohu, banhu, jinghu, sihu, and numerous others. Used in both traditional and contemporary pieces, it is a versatile instrument.
Video evidence of David’s hidden talent 🙂
We are wishing so hard that we are with you guys in Lion City making a huge Malaysian Wave!
Thanks to Sheba (vid extraordinaire), Shu Yee, Trace, Shirley and others who are representing us and sharing the goodies.
One for the Perfect Kind with *hearts in the eyes* (phrase borrowed from James Padfoot)

Head over to Sheba’s youtube channel for the other videos, enjoy and leave comments!
Sheba’s Youtube channel!!!
And David remembered you guys too!
DavidArchie Showcase last night went great by the way! Thanks to all the Singapore fans who came out! Also to the Malaysian fans that were there too!
ON ANOTHER NOTE ….
It is also time for Malaysia fans to make some noise on the radio, particularly Hitz since it is still on SBL. So we want David back in Malaysia? We need very strong TOSOD (& CFTH since Christmas is near) sales and huge fan buzz on on the air. In preparation for March 2011.
Let’s do this now. Let’s push Elevator and/or Falling Stars on the Malaysian charts – take to twitter, facebook. tumblr, the petition (!!), request & vote for the songs on radios – all in a polite and gracious manner y’all. We are small in size and number but we can do this! We show ’em, yeah?

I have no dang idea if this is for real hehe because David being the ninja that he is lately gave absolutely no clue that he would be part of a comedy sketch. But judging from the Comedy Central website I think it’s legit. The three girls in the video are the same ones that freaked out during AI7 finale when the results were announced and they went berserk, crying and wailing away because David had lost. Remember them? 🙂 :
I can laugh about it now but at the time I felt exactly the same lol. The three girls in the front are now older and they were roped in to take part in the comedy sketch. In case you can’t catch what David the head says in the video, it goes like this “It’s all your fault! You didn’t vote for me enough!” 🙂 🙂 🙂
This is actually part of a video in the Comedy Central site that’s titled “Uncensored Web Redemption – American Idol Girls”. I cant’ embed the video here but you can watch it at Comedy Central. Basically the three girls were given the chance to meet David in person and went through a charade to finally arrive at the spot where the parcel was delivered. Go watch it 🙂
