When I stand before God at the end of my life
I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left,
and could say,
‘I used everything you gave me’
Erma Bombeck (American humorist/writer)
Talent is God-given. Perhaps to just a chosen few, but it needs to be recognised, seen and heard. When it is not shared or not used to benefit the world in any way, spiritually or otherwise, it seems like there is an element of ingratitude, to put it bluntly, and non-recognition of that gift. David needs to know that the talent bestowed upon him should reach to touch as many people as possible throughout the world; not just a fortunate few. And I rest my case.
We were enamoured by David right from the beginning by his talent. I believe many of us refuse to leave this fandom, even now, despite all the various disappointments we have encountered the past few years, simply because that enthrallment still persists around the talent we know he has, the many manifestations of which we still anticipate to hear and feel.
A friend sent us this video. This very young lady is only 9 years old and she is touching hearts and making people shed tears of joy en masse. This is what singing and making music is about. This is the happiness and spiritual upliftment she is giving to people by touring the world and spreading the manifestations of her Talent and Gift from God.
Yes, I want to see David making us shed tears again. 🙂
