Such an overwhelmingly heart-breaking painting by Frans Schwartz, depicting the deep agonising of Jesus in his hour of dire need for comfort before the cruxifiction. May we be Christians, Mormons or of any religion – just humans, the emotions painted by Schwartz are surely touching our hearts with pain?

“I will not leave you comfortless.
I will come to you”
Is David agonising about something?
Is David deeply troubled? .. Is David needing comfort from an Angel? .. Is David still in a missionary mode? .. oops .. much as we are tempted to continue to speculate again and again, I think we should .. for sanity’s sake .. focus on positivity and assume that David was just momentarily moved by the beauty and the spirituality of the painting.
David seems to have been speaking mostly in riddles and “tongues” since he returned. Or is it just our own surmise? There are undertones which have led to all kinds of rumours, some of which are creating panic of sorts shooting through the fandom. I do not mind a “changed” David .. or a “grown-up” version of David (whatever that means). In fact, my confession, which I have the courage to reveal only now is, the goofy David in the past rather freaked me out at times, much as I was entertained by it. 😀 only because of my own age, nothing to do with David’s age-appropriate goofiness haha.
We cannot expect David to bring back the same “cutie boy” he was 2 years ago. If he did, surely that would point towards something difficient in his “growth hormones”. 😛 I only hope he does not remain almost solely in the niche of his faith which, all angles considered including the limitations and restrictions of expression, may be an obstacle to further growing his music career, if he wants one.
However, I do want him to work at his own comfortable pace (but not too long, mate! 🙂 ) – sort out whatever “agonies” he may be harbouring, even though my generosity of thought frustrates me…. not to the extent of agonising though. 🙂
Here are more paintings by Frans Schwartz, probably or not displayed, at the Sacred Gifts Exhibition at The Brigham Young University Museum Of Art (BYU) which David visited – such rare gifts of time!
Should this pic be included in the list of “Gifts Of Time” too? 🙂

(Will we ever see David’s rockstar stance again? Hmm .. just wondering 🙂 )
