I guess we’re all in that?! 😀

It is the 1st day of 2013! Happy and Peaceful New Year again! 2014 is just 1 more year away! Hang in there folks!
Since we are all Geh Po’s here, after I read my own New Year horoscope, I checked out on David’s as well. David’s account does not contain predictions as such for the coming year; it gives a description of his character traits which, if you believe it, have been pre-determined by influences of astral bodies or celestial gods up there somewhere – by token of his birthdate – so I’ve been told.
What I’ve read seems so uncanny as to what we know (or what we think we know!) about David – I think it is worth the fun pondering over.
His birthdate December 28 1990, puts him under the astrological Sun sign of the Capricorn Goat (just like me woohoo!) and the Moon sign of Taurus, with influences from Saturn and Scorpio.
Lunar astrology places him as a Horse. Element: Metal.
Like the majority of Earth signs like Capricorn, he is described as efficient and concrete. His ideas go through changes but their consequence remains. He has an unfailing integrity and an asthetic spirit that excludes all forms of deception.
Fire is dominant in him and endows him with intuition, energy, courage and enthusiasm. The relative weakness of this Element is a kind of boldness that may prompt him to do foolish things.
The 12 zodiacal signs are split into 3 groups or modes: Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable. In David, the Cardinal mode is dominant and indicates his keeness to implement the plans he has in mind and to get things going. This inspires enthusiasm and adrenaline without which he can grow weary rapidly. That he should express sensitivity even if it reveals vulnerability.
Like all the people born under the apparently tough and reserved sign of Capricorn, his inner person is often gentle and charming. But he represses his feelings and practises too much self-control. The armour, forged throughout childhood, seems to have entirely preserved the purity and warmth of his soul imprisoned within.
The 12 zodiac signs are also divided into 2 polarities: active/passive, masculine/feminine, positive/negative, and yang/yin. David, being a Capricorn, belongs to the 2nd group, which corresponds to introversion, reactivity, reflection and caution.
– “You are quite introverted, imaginative and discreet and you are a deep and wise person who is not content with just noisy and flashy things.” –
Saturn, being part of his dominant planets, influences him to seek the essential, security and longevity. He will never give priority to wealth or “the bigger the better” philosophy for the sake of power. Saturnians often hide deep down a golden heart that eventually ends up revealing itself.
He is always ready to evolve, risking destruction for reconstruction, so that he could live more intensely.
He is endowed with a receptive, emotive and imaginative nature. He has an innate ability to instinctively absorb atmospheres and impressions which nurture him.
Taurus is important in his chart in that he is constructive, stable and sensual. He has good taste, sense of beauty and manner and unfailing good sense – all these qualities contribute to his charm and seductive power. One of the consequences may turn into popularity, even fame.
He is sometimes criticised for being slow and stubborn. But that is his pride for his security and he likes it the way it is – slow and steady.
He has many qualities and dangers in 1 chart. This often results in a natural collection of people around him – those who admire him immensely, and those who can’t bear him.
He is also described as an epicurean, willing to enjoy life’s good and beautiful things within the family clan and with close friends who value his convivality and his kindness.
He is faithful and stable with his feet rooted in the ground and is reliable in all circumstances.
His thirst for learning is considerable. He is open-minded and wants to abolish all kinds of frontiers. The humanist who is dominant in him, may turn him into a frequent traveller reaching out to others in order to understand and to communicate with them.
He has numerous centres of interest, but may be perceived to be superficial, heedless and over-optimistic. However, if he controls his tendency to scatter, all his encounters and discoveries can positively be supportive of his philosophical approach to life.
Love, for him, is a quest for the absolute. He would rather attempt to ascend a mountain of love. His romanticiam, modestly concealed or restrained, offers emotion that people do not immediately perceive.
He does not fall in love easily. But when he does, his feelings are deep, quiet, serious and lasting. His need for security is indispensable for his well-being and to enable him to give. He offers security and stability with his sense of duty even though he mixes up responsibility with love.
For him, the charm of his partner does not only include physical features or aroused sentimental attraction, but also intellectual and moral qualities. He needs authenticity and seriousness because that is the way he is. His loves are not numerous and he will only be able to express himself romantically quite late in life.
In his sex life, he is generous and instinctive and his slowness is not an obstacle.
Under David’s Lunar astrology of the Metal Horse, it says that his nature is marked by a continuous concern for elevation and evolution.
That he strives to come across as a moral person inhabited by an ideal of justice and fairness.
That he enjoys travelling the world or going on inner spiritual journeys.
As a Horse, he is a born Unifyer – a person who brings Cohesion. He tries to take advantage of the diversity of approaches or viewpoints without dismissing them.
His qualities mainly lie in his broadmindedness enabling him to immediately grasp the stakes and any new situations.
His nature is one of individualism and determination and that he seldom shrinks from obstacles. Life’s pitfalls often stimulate him.
He follows his idea through, discarding external opinions and he brings his enterprises to a successful conclusion even if it means he goes it alone.
Phew! So many revelations!
Is this the David we have deduced through the years? Is he a true Capricorn Goat and a true Metal Horse?
