As many would have known by now, David’s debut single “Crush” officially went Gold on October 1st, as reported by Fans of David. Three cheers for David! And more!
In other news, Team Archie is yet again launching a Gifting Campaign; this time for David’s self-titled album tentatively set to be released in the second week of November. (Has anyone gotten any verified updates about the release date in Malaysia yet?)
The following are the Gifting Campaign details posted on Fans of David very recently:
There will be more information forthcoming, but Teamarchie has built a wonderful gifting campaign for David’s debut album. If you are interested in buying a CD to donate to someone–or if you need a CD–read the message below to learn more about it! Let’s all sign up and help share David’s gift!
For his single, you all helped us make the gifting of Crush a huge success! But we are anticipating the gifting of his album to be even bigger. More people know about the campaign now and we are reaching parts all over the world. We have a team of dedicated Archies who are gathering giftees stateside and internationally who will not be able to purchase his album and would otherwise pirate his music. We want to make a real difference for his fans, and for David. The Archuleta family knows about and is appreciative of our campaign. Let’s rally together and continue to make them proud. If you’d like to participate, please go to http://teamarchie.com/forum/showthread.php?t=194 where you can read further instructions on how to donate or be gifted. We will be holding auctions to benefit our campaign as well; please read http://teamarchie.com/promo/?page_id=72 for more detail!
If you have questions then please don’t hesitate to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
So do what you can: give, be gifted and even get copies of the album when it hits local stores! And remember: Buy ori, hear ori. 😉
In lieu of waiting in fervent anticipation for David’s album, don’t forget to vote as well as request for “Crush” to be played on the airwaves as frequent as you can. We must not be idle. Haha. Head over to our Radio Requests page for more info.
(Thanks for the note, JM!)
