It seems David has been doing some singing recently! One lucky Chilean fan had the encounter of a lifetime this week:
I was at the Christmas Devotional today. My best friends are in the chorus so I went early to the temple square. We were in the church singing and playing piano, then Seba said “Oh Nina you’re a fan of David Archuleta, you know all his songs” and I was like “Hey … I only know one of his songs on piano”, so I started play the song on piano and guess what. Yes, Elder Archuleta came, laughed and said “Hey … that’s my song.” We were amazed and I obviously got very shy. He talked to us for a while and then we could be in his essay before the devotional. He’s very friendly and funny. I had seen him in another musical devotional, but this was amazing. I could not be more embarrassed. He hummed a little bit of the song and then told me to keep playing and he also said that I played the piano well. The truth is that I cannot play in front of people, and with him there, I was even more nervous.
Great, now I wish I was in Chile. I can just imagine David giggling when he recognised his song played on the piano. Sigh, anyone else wishing they were in Nina’s shoes? I know I am.

FYI: David has been nominated for 2 awards, Hottest Love Song of the Year and Hottest Male Song of the Year both for the song ‘Forevermore’ in the Hottest Single Today Music Awards 2013. Woohoo!!
