NEW DAVID ARCHULETA ALBUM!!!

David has been a busy bee guys!!!

In addition to the 25 episode mini series of Nandito Ako and all the performances he has had in the Philippines, David took the time out to shoot this funny skit for Vangie, the Philippines’ (spoof) equivalent to Siri!!

There’s also buzz that David has been signed as a celebrity endorser for the BENCH clothing line and joins the likes of Bruno Mars and Lucy Hale (of Pretty Little Liars fame) as the face of BENCH.  See the tweet below about this.

David Archuleta (@DavidArchie) will be launched as part of the@benchtm family next week. He is shooting the campaign tomorrow.

Really hope its official, because I think David deserves ALL the endorsements he can get TBH !!$$!!

AND in addition to ALL that and what we think IS QUITE POSSIBLY THE BEST NEWS EVER FOR THE FANS IS THAT DAVID IS RECORDING A BRAND NEW ALBUM, WOOHOO!!!!

Seriously guys, this boy is AMAZING and is just working his butt off to give his fans all these AWESOME goodies before he goes off on his mission!!

If you haven’t heard the details about the album, well apparently its an album of OPM songs, i.e. Original Phillipines Music which is pop music (mostly ballads) produced in the Philippines or composed by individuals of Filipino descent, regardless of location.

This is what David has to say about the Project:

“This is a project that came about quite suddenly. It wasn’t really planned out, but while I was here filming Nandito Ako, it just came about and came into work and we just figured it would be a great gift for the Filipinos fans to go alongside everything that has been going on.”

“Since I’ll be leaving for a couple of years, it just seems like something really fun and special to give, he added. “And the songs, I think, not just Filipinos would enjoy but fans elsewhere would really like because the songs tend to be really heartfelt, emotional, and you can really sing them, and so I think my other fans would really enjoy listening to them as well.”

So while we’re on the topic of David’s new album:

[(i) which may possible come out as in early APRIL 2012! and

(ii) which is said to be titled "FOREVERMORE"!!!), and

(iii) which incidentally is also the title of another OPM song (hmmm...);]

AAM NEEDS YOUR HELP to gauge the possible number of orders that may be coming from the Malaysian fans. Since this is a side project, we’re not sure it will get the full distribution as your average album under a formal label, SOO IT WOULD REALLY HELP US OUT IF YOU COULD COMMENT BELOW AS TO WHETHER YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ORDERING THE ALBUM AND IF SO, HOW MANY COPIES YOU WOULD WANT.

Note though, we’re not currently taking orders, but this is just a preliminary survey as to possible numbers if we do
