Hey guys,
Matt Clayton here. I knew something might be up when the friend requests started popping up a day after I wrote a certain status update on Facebook, a few weeks ago. I haven’t had that many friend requests in one day since, say, January 2009 and it didn’t take me long to figure out what might be the cause of it. So, after some internet sleuthing (two can play at this game
), I wasn’t surprised to find that the surge in friend requests was because of a little Archuleta mystery going on. I’d be lying if I said that I haven’t enjoyed reading about all the speculation. And I hate to even take away some of the mystery. But, I hate to mislead any of you.
So, are you ready for some answers? I’m not sure how much I can share with you about what went on while I was in NYC, but I can tell you this, I was not the photographer for David’s album cover. That was left in the capable hands of a much better photographer whose work I greatly admire. David is very lucky to have had the opportunity to work with this photographer. You will not be disappointed with the results. I was, however, on set but used in a different capacity.
I appreciate all of you that have emailed and sent messages with kind words. David’s very lucky to have such a supportive and enthusiastic fan base. I’m grateful for the kindness you’ve shown me.
