Some common questions that has been asked, so hope this info helps!

Can we purchase stuffs from iTunes from Malaysia?

You cannot purchase from Malaysia unless you have a US iTunes account even if you have a credit card. You also need to have US funds in your iTunes account before you can make purchases from the iTunes store.
Your Malaysian iTunes account(if you have one) will not allow you to buy the fan pack even with a credit card.

If you have a US iTunes account you need to buy gift certificates in US dollars and credit them into your US iTunes account before making purchases.

How much is the fan bundle?

The whole pack costs US$3.97 = RM 13.87 (lol)

Do I have to pay for it for the gifting?

No you don’t have to. It is completely free. For those who have emailed us for the fan bundle but have yet to receive, please bear with us..We’ll be sending it as soon as we sort things out! :)

David Archuleta sang the National Anthem before the Real Salt Lake vs Colorado Rapids soccer game at Tinto Stadium in Salt Lake City Saturday night.

Last Saturday, Archuleta was back at Rio Tinto Stadium where he performed a four-song concert following the Real Salt Lake-Colorado Rapids soccer match. His appearance Saturday was part of the stadium’s “Charity Begins at Home” event, which honors Utah military causes and families.

“I’m always up for good causes,” Archuleta said of Saturday’s event. “And it was back home. I don’t get to come home too often. I just love being able to come home and having an excuse to be home.”

One thing Archuleta will not be doing while he is home is graduating with his Murray High School class at this afternoon’s ceremonies. He said he was forced to drop out of high school when he started his extended run on “American Idol” last year.

Idol Stalker

David Archuleta sang the Star Spangled Banner at Real Salt Lake’s home game at Rio Tinto Stadium this weekend.  The American soccer club faced off against the Colorado Rapids over the weekend.

Last year’s American Idol runner-up looked really adorable in his soccer jersey and he delivered a really nice rendition of the national anthem.  I just love the quality of his voice and I’ve got to say (in a total “girl moment”) that I’ve never noticed how nice David’s eyes are!

It’s the school holidays! A great time to fire up those requests for TMH, ALTNOY and CRUSH on our radio stations. We are going to push these songs especially TMH on Fly, Hitz and Mix. What are our goals?

  1. TMH debut on Fly’s MWC
  2. TMH burning up Hitz20, Freaky Fly 30 and MixedUp20
  3. Intensify TMH spins
  4. Maintain ALTNOY and CRUSH spins and positions on the charts.

Why are we doing this? To ensure David’s songs stay in the airwaves! Until the next album drops! Until he swings by next! The performance of his songs are always being monitored by the important people (ahem!) so go spread the word amongst David fans to request and vote. Every little bit of effort counts.

  6. Also if you don’t get the bundles from AAM but have other means of doing so then please go buy from iTunes. Don’t just listen to the youtube versions, David needs every support that he can.

    Youtubes do not pay him any royalties and Jive do not make any money frm youtube.

    So those who insist on making youtubes from the fan pack ain’t doing David any favours.

    I would gift it to all the radio stations if I could especially Hitz and Red Fm as they really conducted great interviews with David when he was here.

    Okay so I just read that to gift from itunes it must be to somebody with an itunes account. I don’t think radio stations would have accounts right? So it’ll have to be a dj? If I were to gift, which dj from which station would possibly make a difference, if at all and does anybody have their email add? I only have Steve’s from FLy.

    I know, its a long shot, but just thinking about a different approach to help D out.

  17. Well Sheba all the djs or the stations need is an iTunes account and they can always download it from the net.

    The problem is you can only ‘authorize’ 4 other computers to play iTunes songs that are downloaded into your pc. So your options are rather limited.

    It’s a good idea Sheba and worth further thought. I’ll have to mull over it a bit and let you know.

  25. You’re right John! Forgot about the fact that the songs can only be played on the pc :-( Oh well.

    Also Fatin. Haha! You had to bring up licensing issues!! Dang it. I’m not sure okay but I think apart from their radio broadcasting license that they need to have to operate, they would probably also need a license from PPM (Public Performance Malaysia Sdn Bhd).

    PPM is a one stop licensing body that represents the recording industry (for which I would think Sony, etc are members of). All they need to do is maintain an annual license with PPM and this would allow them to play the songs, recordings of those members. So I don’t think specific license is needed for each song or anything.

    Please don’t take my word for law though okay because although PPM licensing is applicable for all public performance of sound recordings, etc, I’m not sure whether there are any special rules or exceptions for radio stations.

    So yeah. Don’t know whether that helped at all haha. Sorry if I confused you more …

  31. Sheba, I do believe you’re right, but there is an exception. I don’t know if it’s the same here, but because of the mad amount of requests Cook’s non-singles got in the Philippines (Avalanche, Come Back To Me -before it was released-, Always Be My Baby and I Did It For You) the radio stations there played it on air, and it even charted.

    So if the same rule applies, then I think Zero Gravity and ATM can probably be worked into the same loophole. I’m not sure though.
