Back in January 2008, after having accidentally and fortunately switching on the tv just in time to catch David singing “Heaven”, I never thought that I would be here writing blogs, posting on forums, researching the net for videos, pictures, articles etc for any information on David Archuleta. I also never imagined that I would delve into the world of avatars, mp3s, Youtubes, photobuckets and MTV. All of a sudden I found myself calling into radio stations, voting on online polls, engaging in sometimes heated debates on the net, discussing music with netcitizens, immersing myself into the melodious world of David James Archuleta – a young man with a velvet voice and gentle spirit all the way from across the Pacific which was, for all intents and purposes, a world way. It has been a journey of many firsts, heartaches, eye opening experiences, self realization and learning.
Of course some experiences are sweeter than others, the re-discovery that music did and always will play a significant role in my heart is such a welcome salve; like a balm that you spread on a painful sore and the resultant relief is such sweet solace. But maybe even more than the salvation of the heart is the enrichment of the soul through forging new bonds and connections. Thus this tribute to all my new found compadres:
Anne, Lily, Kylie and Justine my fellow AAM mates. You ladies are such lion-hearted warriors for David. Even in the midst of your busy, pressure filled personal lives you still devote yourselves tirelessly towards furthering the appreciation of David for all of us. Thank you for inviting me on this wonderful magic carpet ride.
Ai Sim, your diligence and tenacity in providing Flyfm with information on David started the ball rolling for an amazing week of David Archuleta on Flyfm. You deserve a lot of credit for your contributions.
Cris, the star of David from the North, you’ll have to help in spreading the light of David all across the North for us 
Carmen, one of the first AAMates who continuously supports us with your insights.
Damania and DJArox13, you ladies may sound like giddy fangirls but you speak with a maturity and commonsense that gives us much food for thought.
Eunice who was instrumental in introducing M’sian batik and special water bottles to David , thank you for visiting us from the US. Elicia, our very own “Nigella Lawson”; the high priestess of cupcakes who baked those pastry masterpieces for the djs at Flyfm.

Jolene O who have just discovered AAM. We hope you’ll continue to park here and join in the Archurevelry. And those of you David fans who visit AAM but still confine yourselves to lurkdom, please don’t be shy, we’d love to hear from you. It doesn’t matter if you don’t write Shakespearen English, for as long as your message is from the heart – it will be loud and clear. Forgive me if I’m so remiss as to not mention some of you by name but you know that we value and are grateful for your support.
Thank you everyone for sharing my love for David and his music. Even though we’ve never actually met but by sharing a common adoration for David, I feel a close kinship with all of you. The thread that is David Archuleta binds us and wraps us in a cocoon of comradeship and camaraderie. This, I feel, is the single most precious gem that I’ve acquired from opening myself to the community of David Archuleta fans. You guys are an amazing tribute and testament to the charismatic magnetism of a young man from Utah and I’m very grateful that I’m allowed to be a part of it.

, but at least I was doing something productive and important haha. So I’m bummed I couldn’t see the first part of the show, but Heart was amazing as always. Journey was incredible too!! I was able to go backstage and meet them during the intermission after Heart’s set, and I have to admit I was nervous because I felt like I was just bugging them and invading their space haha. But they were waaay nice. They have the new singer Arnel Pineda, and I can’t believe how amazing he can sing. He’s Filipino, and blew me out of the water! Another sad part is I didn’t bring my camera since I was thinking about recording before haha, but I tried getting pictures of them performing on my iPhone. I’m a terrible photographer but oh well. I actually have some really random pictures on my iphone from tour, but I think it’d be fun to post them anyway just so you can see what I tried to take pictures of wandering around haha. But I’ll think about it, since they’re not exciting.
